About the Recruitment
Out of the 50 District Cooperative Banks operating in Uttar Pradesh, 5 District Cooperative Banks are each inviting applications for one “Cooperative Intern” post. This initiative aims to strengthen cooperative societies by deploying young professionals to support the Ministry of Cooperation’s schemes at the grassroots level, build capacity in cooperative institutions, and increase the pool of experienced professionals in the cooperative sector.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBA (or equivalent) in Marketing Management / Cooperative Management / Agribusiness Management / Rural Development Management.
- A two-year PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) or UGC (University Grants Commission) will be treated as equivalent to MBA.
Mandatory Qualification
- Computer proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must attach a proficiency certificate along with the application.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years

Salary & Benefits
- Selected interns will be paid a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-.
- Travelling Allowance (TA) / Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid as per the norms fixed at each bank.
- Interns are entitled to 10 days of casual leave in a year; no other leave will be granted apart from this.
- Apart from casual leave, any other leave will be treated as “leave without pay.”
- Interns may also avail holidays applicable at the respective District Cooperative Bank / UP Cooperative Bank.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Intern
- Coordinate with PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) and other primary cooperative societies, and provide guidance for implementing initiatives launched by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India.
- Support the computerization process of PACS by resolving day-to-day issues, preparing business plans and project reports, resolving financial matters, and obtaining various approvals.
- Coordinate with the District Cooperative Bank / UP Cooperative Bank and prepare/share a weekly status report on the progress of Ministry of Cooperation initiatives.

- This is a full-time internship program; interns must adhere to bank office timings.
- The internship can be terminated at any time if performance is unsatisfactory or if the intern remains absent without permission – without any financial benefit being paid.
- The bank can terminate the intern’s services at any time without assigning any reason, without prejudice to the above.
- Interns must maintain confidentiality of all documents/reports/information received during the internship; violation will attract legal consequences.
- Interns must comply with the rules and regulations of UP State Cooperative Bank and the respective District Cooperative Bank.
- Interns must not disclose confidential information about the bank, its work, or its policies to any person or organization.
- Interns must not interact with any media (print/electronic) including social media handles like Facebook/Twitter, nor represent the bank before them. Interns cannot post their work on social media without the competent authority’s permission.
- Interns must behave professionally with the bank and the general public.
- The intern’s conduct and data access will be the sole responsibility of the concerned bank.
