Salary & Benefits
- Consolidated pay: ₹42,800 to ₹78,390 per month depending on post.
- Site Allowance: 7.5% of pay for site/project locations.
- Metro Allowance: 2.5% of pay for metro locations.
- Annual increment: 3% of consolidated pay.
- Accommodation: Company accommodation subject to availability, otherwise HRA at 5% of consolidated pay.
- Medical: Facilities for self, spouse and 2 dependent children at Ispat Hospital if posted at Ranchi; free consultation from retainer doctor at other locations; reimbursement of Mediclaim premium up to ₹15,000 per year (₹4 lakh floater cover).
- Leave: 12 Casual Leave, 18 Earned Leave (accumulation up to 45 days), 14 Half Pay Leave per year, plus maternity leave and holidays as applicable to regular employees.
- Group Personal Accident Policy: ₹25 lakh sum insured.
Educational Qualification & Experience Rules
- The required qualification must be from a regular / full-time course (certificate courses may be part-time) from a recognised university/institute (UGC / AICTE etc.).
- Experience must be full-time, regular salaried, post-qualification and in the relevant area.
- Freelance, entrepreneurial, articleship, internship, academic project, teaching and research experience is not counted.
- Training as MT / ET / GT in PSUs and apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act is counted.
- Experience certificates of all past employers are mandatory. For current employment: experience certificate / offer letter / ID card and last 3 months’ pay slips. Self-declaration is not accepted.
Selection Process
Selection will be through Personal Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email and the list will be uploaded on the MECON website. Candidates must carry all original documents. Government/PSU employees must forward the application through proper channel or produce an NOC at the time of interview. Outstation candidates get TA by 3rd AC / CC rail fare (or ₹7 per km by road, whichever is less).
